Stay seated until the Captain says you may disembark. No smoking at any time, of any kind, on the boat. If going to an island hotspot, be prepared to exit the boat into the water because there are no docks and the beach is not always accessible. Be prepared to get wet at anytime while traveling on the water taxi and please remember the taxi runs at around 20mph so staying seated at all times is not an option, but mandatory, including children. Children under 12 should bring their own fitted lifejacket due to severe differences in the average weight of a child that age. You may get wet occasionally due to weather or waves so get used to it, you are on the water!

A lot of folks ask about our logo. Many moons and empty rum bottles ago, the founder of Lake Lanier Water Taxi (Captain W. Marc Kenney), had a coworker named Leah Lentz. She used to doodle on notepads in the office while waiting for a computer to become available for her to use. After realizing she had a great talent, he asked if she ever made a logo. This was our first one for our charter business “The Salty Seaman”, made by Leah. She took the idea of what he should look like from Marc’s head, used a caricature of her boyfriend’s face, and came up this logo. “The Salty Seaman” was born in 2020!
Our new look came by chance when Marc met Paul Perdue at Perdue Vision LLC. While making the wrap design for the water taxi, Paul suggested adding some color and some more knots to the rope. Now you have the finished product!
